Cantors

The Cathedral cantors lead the singing at Sunday Masses and Solemnities throughout the year. The cantors demonstrate exceptional musical expression and vocal technique to support and encourage congregational singing. Many of the cantors either have advanced training in music or are vocal majors at Northern Michigan University.

The Cathedral Brass

The Cathedral Brass is comprised of some of the finest professional musicians in the Marquette area, many of whom form the Marquette Symphony Orchestra Brass Section. The Cathedral Brass can be heard various times throughout the liturgical year, including Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday, Ordinations and in concert. They add majesty and festivity to these solemn celebrations.

The Chamber Orchestra

The Chamber Orchestra, made up of members from the Marquette Symphony Orchestra and the Superior String Alliance, is most often heard during the Christmas liturgies, as well as for other special Masses as needed.
