Father Marquette Catholic School will host Vacation Bible School at the elementary school June 26-29 from 9 am to noon. Parents are encouraged to join the 11:30 closing cermony each day.  There will be a family potluch on Thursday June 29 at St. Louis The King at 5:30.  This year's program is Mighty Fortress Liguori and is for all children age 4 through those entering 5th grade.  As they participate in fun-filled activities, children will be pointed directly to Jesus and his holy catholic Church!  We will have a great time with lively songs, hilarious skits, creative crafts, exciting games, Bible stories and tasty snacks.  There is no cost to participate but donations are accepted and appreciated.  Registrations forms are available in the Gathering Area.



TOTUS TUUS      July 30- August 4, 2017!

Hosted at St. Peter Cathedral



 “Totus Tuus” is a weeklong program dedicated to sharing the Gospel with youth entering grades K to 12th, in a way that is both fun and highly effective.  As implied by its title, which means “totally yours”, the aim of “TOTUS TUUS” is to help young people give their lives totally to God.  It’s also totally fun.  To see for yourself the fun and joy of the program please check out photos available on Facebook: Totus Tuus – Diocese of Marquette   

Elementary Program (K thru 6th grades)

9:00 am to 2:30 pm; Monday thru Friday

Middle & High School (7th thru 12th grades)

7:00 pm to 9:15 pm; Sunday thru Thursday

August 7th-11th, 9am-5pm

The Diocesan Youth Choir Camp is a unique music experience for youth ages 10-17. Youth will have the opportunity to develop their voices and sharpen their musical skills. The cost of the camp is $30 per family and includes daily lunch and materials. Scholarships are available for
financial assistance. Please request a camp registration form at the diocesan office or via email: sholmberg@dioceseofmarquette.org


Every summer we join with other area churches and have some fellowship and fun in the sun.  We would like you to join us; teams are co-ed.  Games are held either Tuesday or Thursday nights at 6 or 7 p.m. and generally last 1 hour. Contact Brian Boehmer at 906-250-5054 or brian@barqueofpeter.com.  Games will begin in a few weeks.

MEN'S MINISTRY - 2nd and 4th Saturdays

The Men's Ministry will begin a new study, "Peter, Keeper of the Keys".  This is a 4-part study that will begin Saturday, Jan. 14th at 8:45 in the Media Rm.  Men's Ministry meets on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays at 8:45 a.m.  Coffee and doughnuts provided too!   


Check out the new selection of books in the Library Hutch in the Gathering Area or stop by the lower level library (take elevator to LL) after Sunday 10:30 Mass to check out the large selection of books, DVDs, and CDs.  Topics include marriage and family life, apologetics, saints, living a Catholic life, novels, children's books, homeschooling/educational topics, church history and many others.

CATHEDRAL CHOIR - Wednesdays 7-9 pm,

The Cathedral Choir sings on Sundays at the 10:30am Mass and other Solemnities throughout the year. The Choir sings the whole range of sacred music, from early music to music of living composers. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 9 p.m.  New members are encouraged to join us in this important and enriching ministry.


Saint Cecilia Choristers, 5th grade through high school, rehearses Tuesdays 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Media Room and will sing the weekday Mass at 5:15 p.m. immediately following rehearsal. On occasion, the choristers will sing at other Masses during the school year.

The Latin Extraordinary Form Mass will be offered only on the First Sunday of each month at 1:00 pm in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of the Cathedral.
