11:45 am: Parking Lot Adoration, Blessing and Confession

April 12, 2020

Come to our Lord this Easter Sunday and receive His blessings and bountiful mercy! St. Peter Cathedral will offer Easter Adoration and blessings in our parking lot following the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Msgr Michael Steber and Fr. Jernej Sustar will also offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation following the time of Adoration blessing.

Adoration & blessing instruction: Cars are to park in the normal parking spaces in rows in the parking lot during this time. The priest will pass by the front of cars in each row to give the blessing with the monstrance. Once you have been blessed please leave the parking lot to make room for additional cars.

Confession instruction: Confession will be offered following the Adoration time, as well as Tuesday, 4/14- Saturday 4/18 at noon and 6 pm. During the week, at least one priest will be available. The priests will park in their cars nearest to the rectory and remain in their cars which will be marked with orange cones. Pull your vehicle next to the priest’s vehicle. Both priest and penitent are to remain in their vehicles.

This is all a very new process. We will keep you informed if we need to make adjustments to the process as we go.
