Welcome to Saint Peter Cathedral, the mother church of the Diocese of Marquette. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012, construction began in 1864 with Venerable Bishop Frederic Baraga laying the cornerstone. The Cathedral offers two daily Masses, four weekend Masses, and guided tours. Special Masses, devotions and concerts are held regularly throughout the year, and on Holy Days and Holidays. Thank you for visiting us online and we welcome you to visit us in person!
